The Police Department responded to 233 false alarms last year!

Please make sure your security alarm system is in good working order. The Police Dept does assess a fee for responding to an excessive number of false alarms, beginning with the second false. Responding to emergency alarms entails risks that should be limited to real emergencies and correcting problems that cause false alarms is necessary to avoid unnecessary risks.
