Property Owners' Special Assessment District The Orchard Lake Shore Special Assessment District is comprised of 214 riparian members. The 157 lake front home owners pay $140.00 annually and 57 with lake access are taxed $96.00 annually under the Special Assessment District, the cornerstone supporting our programs. The Aquatic Advisory Board members voluntarily manage all activities affecting Orchard Lake, the natural gem we personally enjoy and recognize as a source of high property values.
